Anja - Egads is right. But I am surviving. So far anyway

Nikki - Thanks and glad you have lots to smile about

Bettina - Thanks for the comment and once again for the Bling

Naomi - I will post soon with more about Uni.

Lightening - yep lots on my plate but I am loving it. Most of the time anyway. Hope you enjoyed your first swimming carnival

River - A friend's daughter had a similar thing as far as disqualification at her school swimming carnival recently. I think that if they are younger and don't swim competitively then the schools need to be a little flexible with the "technical" aspects of it. Good for you for having a go.

I remember a swimming carnival from my early high school years. I entered and won my race but got disqualified because I didn't swim "properly". I'm a self taught swimmer and never did get the hang of the flutter kick, so my arms do the crawl style while my legs do the frog kick more commonly done with breaststroke. I didn't know about the proper face in the water turn to one side breathing either, I was a chin up see where I'm going swimmer. Looking back now I'm sure everyone must have laughed at me but I didn't care then and I don't care now. I had fun and I won. Congratulations to Daisy and Tiger.

Well done to Daisy and Tiger. :)

First week of Uni, egads, I remember that. *shudder*

Surviving that and not running for the hills is a reason to smile, for sure.

I'll now whip off and read your blog review.
